Why you should be excited about the newest manga chapter of one piece 1125? The action is expected to pick up a notch in the coming One Piece 1125 漫画.

Buggy

Buggy is very vain and egotistical and seeks to be glorified and feared by others. When he was nine years old, he complained that the Whitebeard Pirates were receiving more attention in the newspaper than his crew, the Roger Pirates. He does not spend much of his time improving his own abilities to become a powerful fighter, but rather focuses mainly on recruiting powerful subordinates who do the hard work while simultaneously being subjected to him. If presented with an opportunity to make himself look good and recruit powerful followers, Buggy will take it.

Abilities and Powers

Physical Abilities

Buggy possesses notable physical durability, as he quickly recovered after being hit by a Muggy Ball that Dracule Mihawk rebounded back toward him in Marineford. Although he avoided most of the damage by using his men as shields, Buggy was able to survive the explosion from a Buggy Ball that Luffy sent flying back at him and emerged from the wreckage of the collapsed tavern with no injuries. Additionally, although he does not have immunity to lightning like Luffy, he was able to quickly get back up after being struck on the Loguetown execution platform and immediately start chasing after Luffy. In Impel Down, he was able to walk through the extreme heat of Level 4 and extreme cold of Level 5 without suffering significant adverse effects.

Devil Fruit

Buggy ate the Bara Bara no Mi, a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows him to split his body into pieces and reassemble them at will. This power also makes him immune to slashing attacks. With the exception of his feet, Buggy can make his disassembled body parts levitate and control them telekinetically. He can launch his body parts at high speed, allowing him to strike a distant target with strong force. He can also split his body to dodge opponents' attacks by detaching the section of his body that would have taken the attack and making it fly out of the way.

Luck

Rivaling Luffy and Zoro, Buggy has a ridiculous amount of dumb luck, where no matter how terrible a situation becomes for him, he somehow manages to survive, gaining more than he lost. He manages to become allies with Alvida, who rescued him from a giant crab, then located his missing parts. At Impel Down, Buggy earned followers in the form of the dangerous criminals, whose bounties surpasses his own, having freed them all, because Luffy arrived there at the same time to save Ace.

Marshall D. Teach

Blackbeard's personality seems to be a strange mix of courage and cowardice, as well as high intellectual capacity and stupidity. While at times his character looks strong and fearsome, in others he will seem weak and ridiculous. He is very deceptive, joining the Whitebeard Pirates to find the Yami Yami no Mi and killing a fellow crewmate despite having spent two decades aboard the ship. He also deceived the Marines by joining the Seven Warlords of the Sea in an elaborate and convoluted fashion for the sole reason of gaining access to Impel Down in order to find new crewmates and later resigning from it in front of the fleet admiral himself saying that he does not need it anymore. He is also exceedingly power-hungry and greedy, aiming to become the next Pirate King.

Abilities and Powers

Tactical Skills

Blackbeard has shown himself to be an expert planner and a master at orchestrating manipulative schemes provided he has time to prepare; he waited two decades aboard the Moby Dick with the Whitebeard Pirates and even integrated with the crew dynamic solely to increase his opportunities of obtaining the Yami Yami no Mi (and also recruited some future members of his own crew during this time, indicating great charisma and leadership skills even as a regular crewmate).

Physical Abilities

Teach has an immense amount of superhuman endurance and durability. During his fight with Ace, he was engulfed in flames and pierced in the chest by two fire spears, but after putting out the flames, he was able to shake off the impact of the attacks. Another indication of his sheer endurance is shown when he took a Jet Pistol from an enraged Luffy, and was hit by one of Sengoku's shockwaves in his Daibutsu form only to come out with minor injuries both times.

Devil Fruits

Through an unknown method, Blackbeard became the first and so far, only known person to wield the powers of two Devil Fruits at the same time. Marco speculated that this was possible due to an unstated peculiarity unique to Blackbeard himself, having to do with an "atypical body structure" of some sort. He also pointed out that the other Whitebeard Pirates should be aware of this fact.

Yami Yami no Mi

Blackbeard ate the Yami Yami no Mi, a unique Logia-type Devil Fruit which allows him to create and control the element of darkness. The darkness appears reminiscent of a fiery black smoke. Unlike a normal Logia user, Blackbeard cannot turn intangible; in fact, any damage he takes will actually hurt worse than normal. Blackbeard has an infinite amount of space inside of his body made of darkness.

Gura Gura no Mi

Blackbeard, through currently unknown means, stole the power of the Gura Gura no Mi from the dead body of its previous user, Whitebeard. The Gura Gura no Mi is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that gives him the ability to cause earthquakes and generate powerful shockwaves. It is considered to be the strongest power of the Paramecia class, in addition, it is said that it has the power to destroy the entire world.

Busoshoku Haki

Blackbeard is an extremely skilled user of Busoshoku Haki. By hardening his arm, he was able to defend himself against a Seraphim's sword slash, which could cut Amazon Lily's large mountain in half.

Kenbunshoku Haki

Blackbeard is a highly skilled user of Kenbunshoku Haki. As he was able to sense that Luffy's bounty of Beli 30,000,000 was too low compared to his strength, and during his raid on Impel Down he was able to sense that Luffy's Haki had improved since meeting him in Jaya.

Shanks

Shanks is an extremely laid-back man, preferring to take his time by traveling around the world with his crew while enjoying himself as opposed to rushing from one place to another. This was already the case in his youth, where he was playful and innocent compared to the grumpy and opportunistic Buggy, his fellow apprentice. However, he still suffered from occasional bouts of immaturity, starting trivial arguments with Buggy solely out of stubbornness. In many ways, Shanks himself was like Luffy (as a child) in his younger years.

Abilities and Powers

Leadership

According to Brannew, one of Shanks' greatest attributes is his leadership and charisma, having managed to earn the absolute trust and loyalty of the most talented and capable individuals from the four seas and Grand Line all noted for having particularly high bounties and recruited them into his crew. The most prominent are his officers: Benn Beckman of North Blue, Yasopp of East Blue, and Lucky Roux of South Blue. This made Shanks' crew extremely well balanced and impregnable, able to contend equally with the enormous military power of Charlotte Linlin's Big Mom Pirates, Kaidou's Beasts Pirates, and Edward Newgate's Whitebeard Pirates.

Infiltration and Stealth

Shanks is incredibly skilled at infiltration and stealth, as shown when he successfully managed to infiltrate Mary Geoise by wearing only a cloak, a noteworthy feat considering that for most pirates, entering through Mary Geoise without being invited or enslaved is practically considered an impossible and unthinkable feat. He also avoided detection from the many guards and marines present.

Physical Abilities

Shanks is an excellent swimmer, having once swam deep into the ocean depths to save Buggy from drowning. He is pretty fast at swimming as well, able to rescue Luffy in the open ocean from a Sea King attack.

Swordsmanship

As former rival of Dracule Mihawk, the "Strongest Swordsman in the World", Shanks is an immensely skilled master swordsman. Prior to losing his left arm, he competed in ruthless duels on a daily basis with Mihawk.  Even after losing his his arm, Shanks is able to match a blow from Whitebeard which is a testament to his prowess in swordsmanship. He is also powerful enough to easily block Akainu's magma fist using only his sword and Busoshoku Haki.

Haoshoku Haki

Shanks possesses immense mastery in the usage of Haoshoku Haki, a rare type of Haki that only one in several million people in the world can use. It was first hinted sometime after his introduction, before the reveal of Haki, with him intimidating a Sea King with a single glare, causing it to flee for its life. When boarding the Moby Dick, the main ship of Edward Newgate, Shanks was capable of knocking dozens of his men unconscious, many of whom were seasoned men able to survive the New World, while the flagship itself, a ship able to survive the harsh conditions of the New World, was damaged from the sheer force of his presence, impressing those around him.

Busoshoku Haki

Shanks is an immensely skilled user of Busoshoku Haki. During the Summit War of Marineford, his Haki-infused sword easily blocked Akainu's magma-enhanced punch, which was powerful enough to burn enemies such as Ace, Jinbe, and even the Emperor Whitebeard.

Kenbunshoku Haki

Shanks is an immensely skilled user of Kenbunshoku Haki, able to sense a "weird" presence while he was miles outside Wano Country.

Monkey D. Garp

Garp is an eccentric but caring man, who is loyal to both his criminal family and the Marine Headquarters, who he has served for decades. He is loud, boisterous, exuberant, and overall acts in a similar manner to his grandson. He has a habit of falling asleep during conversations and can be absent-minded. Luffy's crew noted his, apparently hereditary, selfishness during Garp's interaction with Luffy in Water 7.

Unlike many Marines, Garp does not believe that a person's lineage determines their path. On a similar note, he does not believe that being labeled a criminal necessarily makes someone a bad person. Although Garp wanted his grandsons to become marines, he entrusted their care to a mountain bandit whom he had refused to turn over for prosecution.

Abilities and Powers

Garp is considered a living legend and is one of the strongest marines of all time. In his heyday he was famous for cornering Gol D. Roger many times, as he was one of the very few people capable of fighting the Pirate King. In fact, Roger states that he and Garp had almost killed each other many times throughout their battles. Due to his incredible power and popularity, Garp was offered the rank of admiral several times throughout his life but refused the promotion every time. As a testament to his strength, together with Roger he fought and defeated the Rocks Pirates, one of the strongest pirate crews in history that featured Roger's most formidable rival, Rocks D. Xebec, three future Emperors and other legendary pirates such as Shiki the Golden Lion. This tremendous feat earned Garp the title of Hero of the Marines.

Leadership

As a vice admiral of the Marine Headquarters, Garp has command over all lower ranking soldiers, as seen when he took two of Ripper's subordinates (Koby and Helmeppo) and made them his own subordinates instead due to his higher rank. Also, as a vice admiral, he has the potential to be called upon to be one of five vice admirals leading a fleet of ten battleships during a Buster Call.

Physical Abilities

Garp's strength is considered legendary. At his best he had monstrous punching power at his disposal, with his epithet, "Garp the Fist", attesting to the tremendous power of his punches. He claimed to have crushed eight mountains during his training to face Chinjao. This is proven when he was able to dent Chinjao's drill head, which was powerful enough to split the immensely hard Ice Continent in two, with relative ease. It is evident Whitebeard respects Garp's strength, as he mentioned him during his talk with Shanks.

Aramaki

Ryokugyu is shown to act in a casual and uncouth manner, being unafraid of expressing his mind. With friends and allies, he has been shown to act quite jovial and conversational, as seen by his talk with fellow admiral Fujitora. With enemies, however, Ryokugyu has expressed open contempt much like his direct superior Sakazuki, whom he wishes to emulate out of admiration. Ryokugyu agrees with Sakazuki's principle of never holding back when battling enemies, and is very much a follower of Absolute Justice. Thus, he is quite brutal during combat; he was shown impaling many of the Beasts Pirates in a gruesome manner during his attack on them and kicked Queen multiple times after impaling him.

Abilities and Powers

Physical Abilities

Ryokugyu's physical prowess are immense, befitting his position as a marine admiral. Despite having not eaten in three years, he has remained completely healthy and not lacking in energy. It should be noted that he has been shown absorbing liquid into his body via his Devil Fruit, with water being a key source of nutrients for plants; however, it has not been officially stated or indicated that this is the reason he has been able to fast for so long. Ryokugyu is an extremely resilient man, capable of taking an advanced Haoshoku Haki attack from Yamato directly to the head, and while he confessed the attack hurt and was impressed with Yamato's level of Haki, he was unphased by the attack.

Devil Fruit

Ryokugyu ate the Mori Mori no Mi, a Logia-type Devil Fruit that allows him to create, control, and transform his body into plantlife. The plants he creates can be grown rapidly and moved around freely, seemingly not being limited by any rigidity that some plants, such as trees, normally possess. Notably, as plants are a solid element, he cannot turn intangible, though non-Haki attacks are still harmless to him and he will regenerate from any damage. Interestingly, he regenerates by sprouting out of the ground and growing back into his normal self.

Busoshoku Haki

Ryokugyu possesses the ability to use Busoshoku Haki. He is able to harden the tips of the branches he creates with his devil fruit powers.

Kenbunshoku Haki

Ryokugyu possesses the ability to use Kenbunshoku Haki. He was able to sense the Red Hair Pirates miles outside of Wano Country after Shanks used his Haoshoku Haki.

Issho

Fujitora is a virtuous man who cares greatly about doing the right thing and detests evil. His blindness is a result of him intentionally inflicting damage on his eyes out of sorrow for all the evil he had seen, with him stating in Dressrosa that not having sight is a blessing. His Justice motto as a Marine is "Humane Justice"). His primary goal is to protect people, telling a subordinate that it is more important to take into account the number of lives to protect rather than the number of enemies against them. He takes care to never put innocent civilians in harm's way during conflict and will try to avoid causing collateral damage with his attacks; when he does inflict such damage, he makes sure to compensate the owner of the involved property.

Abilities and Powers

Physical Abilities

Fujitora's physical strength and fortitude are immense, befitting an admiral. He was able to defend against and repel powerful attacks from the likes of Roronoa Zoro, Sabo, and Luffy as well as clash with them (including the latter when using Gear 2 and Gear 3) with little to no visible effort. He could also withstand a kick from Doflamingo without issue using his sword. Incredibly resilient, Fujitora could guard against a Haki-imbued Gear 3 punch from Luffy without using his own Haki while remaining unhurt by the blow.

Swordsmanship

Fujitora possesses tremendous swordsmanship skills, which he combines with his Devil Fruit ability, channeling his gravity powers through his sword. Usually, Fujitora wields his weapon in a reverse-grip style, the blade pointing in the direction opposite to his thumb. Despite his blindness, the admiral has shown to be extremely skilled with his blade, able to deflect or block incoming attacks, even extremely strong ones or surprise attacks, with little issue using simple parrying maneuvers, demonstrating lightning-fast dexterity all the while. Fujitora's swordsmanship, combined with his Devil Fruit powers, allowed him to repeatedly and evenly clash with Sabo wielding his flame-shrouded staff and exhibit no trouble in doing so.

Devil Fruit

Fujitora ate the Zushi Zushi no Mi, a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows him to manipulate gravitational forces. The ability's range of effect can potentially span wide areas, even entire islands, and is primarily channeled through the admiral's sword.

Busoshoku Haki

Fujitora is a highly skilled user of Busoshoku Haki, being able to clash head-on with Sabo, a Logia user who himself is proficient with this Haki. Fujitora can focus a strong concentration of Haki into his sword, rendering it obsidian-black and strong enough to defend against the razor-sharp string bars of Doflamingo's Torikago, which can easily slice up cannonballs and stone buildings.

Kenbunshoku Haki

Fujitora possesses masterful skill in Kenbunshoku Haki, which he uses to compensate for his blindness in battle, and his incredible skill gives him a strong sense of danger. He can accurately predict fast (and surprise) attacks from enemies, like an unexpected kick from Doflamingo, and generally handle combat against extremely strong, fast, and agile enemies without apparent difficulty.

Borsalino

Kizaru comes off as a laid-back, easygoing man who seems to take most things lightly no matter the severity of the situation. He talks in a calm voice suiting this demeanor — in a sarcastically intonated, slow manner with the last syllable of a sentence often drawn out. He is prone to beginning sentences with a stressed "ooh", such as when observing something surprising or that piques his interest. Still, his register is quite formal (compared to Aokiji's more colloquial or Akainu's rougher, more derogatory speech patterns), using the polite "desu"/"masu" and taking care to address certain people with an honorific (such as his superior or even a pirate of high status). Kizaru is notably the only Admiral who prefers to be addressed by his real name.

Abilities and Powers

Physical Abilities

Befitting his admiral status, Kizaru's physical prowess is immense. His raw strength was enough for him to trade equal blows with the elder (yet still extremely powerful) Rayleigh and even engage Whitebeard, who was the "Strongest man in the world" (the latter's bodily might, even in his old age, vastly exceeding a giant's), even holding down Whitebeard's large naginata down with just one foot, without a lot of effort. Generally, Kizaru's melee attack style empathizes incredibly heavy kicks via his ability to move at the speed of light, allowing Kizaru to easily demolish entire buildings and incapacitate pirates worth over Beli 100,000,000 with a single blow.

Swordsmanship

Kizaru has shown to be an extremely skilled swordsman, he could fight evenly against Rayleigh, an extremely skilled swordsman in his own right, to a draw even while having his intangibility negated by his foe's powerful Haki.

Marksmanship

He was also shown to have very good aim, managing to destroy the key Luffy was holding with a laser beam despite the great distance.

Devil Fruit

Kizaru ate the Pika Pika no Mi, a Logia-type Devil Fruit that allows him to create, control, and transform his body into light. Among other things, he is able to move, travel, and perform kicks at the speed of light, shoot laser beams, and blind his opponents. For offense, Kizaru can shoot powerful laser beams from his fingertips and the bottoms of his feet, which can easily pierce through flesh and/or set off massive, heat-based explosions. He can fire a single laser with pinpoint accuracy or unleash a massive gatling of laser bullets over a wide area.

Busoshoku Haki

During the Summit War, Kizaru was seen using advanced-grade Busoshoku Haki to negate a long-distance quake shockwave sent out by Whitebeard, by generating, alongside his fellow admirals, an emitted shield combination of their three Haki to disperse said shockwave.

Sakazuki

While he is a strong and capable leader who has done well to consolidate the power and prestige of the Marines, Sakazuki would be best categorized as an extremist and highly dogmatic. He is an adamant believer in Absolute Justice and is ruthless in his maintenance of it, his derived motto being "Thorough Justice". He has a stern, dead-serious disposition, is grim, expressionless, and was the most ruthless out of three admirals pre-timeskip.

This has given him a very fearsome reputation, but of greater concern is his dogmatism, which may end up making the Marines into a force that is worse than the enemies they hope to eliminate. Despite this disposition, Sakazuki seems to be able to restrain himself at times, having chosen to spare the life of Jewelry Bonney and her crew after they were left beaten and tied by the Blackbeard Pirates for the then-admiral to salvage, and letting his colleague Aokiji leave the Marines after he lost a ten-day duel for the position of fleet admiral.

Abilities and Powers

Leadership and Intelligence

Attesting to Sakazuki's perceived leadership competencies and military acumen, he had many dignitaries of the government strongly push for him to succeed Sengoku as fleet admiral, over the latter's personal nomination of Kuzan. While known, feared, and disdained by some for his hardline, over-the-top methods, Sakazuki's prowess as a leader is undeniable. Indeed, as noted by Jinbe, the Marine HQ under him has grown far stronger and more determined than ever before, despite the resignations of Kuzan, Sengoku, and Garp, thus bearing out Sakazuki's capabilities.

Physical Abilities

As with all admirals, Sakazuki's physical prowess is immense. His raw physical strength was enough for him to go up against and clash evenly with Whitebeard in close quarters—the "Strongest Man in the World" who, in his old age, could still overpower a giant's strength easily. Using a single leg, Sakazuki held back a two-handed swing of the elder's large naginata, which came clad in a quake bubble to massively enhance its power.

Devil Fruit

Sakazuki ate the Magu Magu no Mi, a Logia-type Devil Fruit that allows him to create, control, and transform his body into magma. His magma is extremely hot and highly explosive,[58][59] thus making it well-suited for combat, allowing Sakazuki to burn, melt, and destroy anything in his path—in fact, among all Devil Fruits, Sakazuki's is said to offer the greatest attack power.

Busoshoku Haki

During the Summit War, Sakazuki was seen using advanced-grade Busoshoku Haki to block and disperse a long-distance quake shockwave sent out by Whitebeard, by generating, with his fellow admirals, an emitted shield combination of their three Haki.

Kenbunshoku Haki

Sakazuki possesses the ability to use Kenbunshoku Haki.

Axe

One by one the soldiers of the Red Mist fell, some in battle, others to Mogul Khan's ambitions, until the self-declared general found himself a commander without troops. "No matter", Axe thought, "For a one-man army is the best army of all." — Leaping into battle, Mogul Khan compels nearby foes to attack him with a taunting Berserker's Call. Absorbing blows from every direction, the indomitable Axe reacts by swinging his axe full circle in a Counter Helix, easily dispatching the swarm he had gathered. But alas, not all stay long enough to meet their end. The few limping away from Mogul Khan feel an inexplicable Battle Hunger, a hunger never sated before Axe slams his Culling Blade through a weakened enemy, sending them to an early grave. Axe, Axe is always charging onward.

"As a grunt in the Army of Red Mist, Mogul Khan set his sights on the rank of Red Mist General. In battle after battle he proved his worth through gory deed. His rise through the ranks was helped by the fact that he never hesitated to decapitate a superior.

Through the seven year Campaign of the Thousand Tarns, he distinguished himself in glorious carnage, his star of fame shining ever brighter, while the number of comrades in arms steadily dwindled. On the night of ultimate victory, Axe declared himself the new Red Mist General, and took on the ultimate title of 'Axe.' But his troops now numbered zero. Of course, many had died in battle, but a significant number had also fallen to Axe's blade. Needless to say, most soldiers now shun his leadership. But this matters not a whit to Axe, who knows that a one-man army is by far the best."

All warriors of the Red Mist are their own blacksmiths and Mogul is no exception. During his time as a mere grunt, he attempted to forge a weapon with an axe, which he considers his only failure. Mogul used to hold the title of the Reaper, a high ranking soldier who would slay any deserters in the Red Mist army. To those who are granted the position of Reaper, they are given tattoos that express the responsibility that they must carry and the respect that it bestows on those who wear it. After the fall of the Red Mist, Mogul Khan may have joined or destroyed the Bloodmist army.

Arc Warden

A splintered fragment of the same primordial power as the Ancients themselves, Zet endeavors to end the disharmony among the warring factions through whatever means necessary. Solitary foes are thrown into a volatile state of Flux, ripping away their health over time. Distorting space to generate a Protective Field sheltering around allies, evading and attacking with greater efficiency. Zet summons Spark Fragments of its former self that circles in place, and seek out nearby foes. Is there one Arc Warden, or two? Armed with the original's items and abilities, the Self's Tempest Double duplicates each spell and every attack, bringing twice the chaos to any fight.

From the shattered Primordial Consciousness, Zet the Arc Warden wills itself into being with one goal in mind: to restore unity by reuniting the fragments of Radiant and Dire back into the one unified intelligence that they once were at the beginning of the universe, or destroy them both should the conflict spread even further.

'Before the beginning of all, there existed a presence: a primordial mind, infinite, awesome, and set to inscrutable purpose. As the universe thundered into being, this mind was fragmented and scattered. Two among its greater fragments—who would come to be named Radiant and Dire--found themselves locked in vicious opposition, and began twisting all of creation to serve their conflict.

As war and cataclysm threatened the nascent cosmos, the will of a third fragment made itself known. Naming itself Zet, this intellect sought to resolve the disharmony and return all to perfect unity. Appalled by its kin's conflicting nature, Zet gathered the sum of its power. In a sudden flash, it overwhelmed its siblings, and fused the warring aspects into a stellar sphere before hurling them into the darkness to orbit a nondescript world. Harmony was restored, though only the barest fraction of Zet's strength remained. Setting its gaze on the prison, Zet chose to use its weakened power to serve as watchful warden until time's end. For uncounted aeons, this vigil stood.

Life flourished upon the world below, oblivious to the dangers imprisoned within the softly glowing moon, or of Zet's struggles to contain them. As the captives' eternal clash reverberated within, the surface of the prison shuddered, over time beginning to crack. Ultimately, Zet's depleted power proved insufficient to contain the breach, and at last the moon was shattered. The prison's ancient inhabitants had escaped to sow their conflict anew.

Flung to the farthest reaches by the prison's explosion, Zet was transformed by the dissonant energies of its former captives. No longer of single form and thought, its presence had become split among many—some lesser, some greater—each connected by a fleeting arc of consciousness. Struggling to suppress its own disunity, Zet sped toward the burgeoning conflict of its siblings, bending its fractured wills toward a singular conclusion: the aspects of the primordial mind must be made to reunite, or all must be destroyed lest the conflict spread further…"

Anti-Mage

Among the ascetic monks of Turstarkuri, only a young acolyte was fortunate enough to escape the fallen legion's assault on the monastery. Now, vowing to eliminate not only the magic of the Dead God, the Anti-Mage returns to eradicate magic altogether. With sheer focus, he Counters Spells thrown at him, returning them to their senders. No wizard's trick is enough to contain or elude the Anti-Mage, as he Blinks out of any trap, while at the same time being capable of sending a Fragments of himself to pursue targets in return. With each swing of his unorthodox blades, the Anti-Mage steps closer to his goal of erradicating all magic, Breaking apart Mana, setting up the depleted caster to perish in a crushing Mana Void.

"The monks of Turstarkuri watched the rugged valleys below their mountain monastery as wave after wave of invaders swept through the lower kingdoms. Ascetic and pragmatic, in their remote monastic eyrie they remained aloof from mundane strife, wrapped in meditation that knew no gods or elements of magic. Then came the Legion of the Dead God, crusaders with a sinister mandate to replace all local worship with their unliving lord's poisonous nihilosophy. From a landscape that had known nothing but blood and battle for a thousand years, they tore the souls and bones of countless fallen legions and pitched them against Turstarkuri. The monastery stood scarcely a fortnight against the assault, and the few monks who bothered to surface from their meditations believed the invaders were but demonic visions sent to distract them from meditation. They died where they sat on their silken cushions. Only one youth survived--a pilgrim who had come as an acolyte, seeking wisdom, but had yet to be admitted to the monastery. He watched in horror as the monks to whom he had served tea and nettles were first slaughtered, then raised to join the ranks of the Dead God's priesthood. With nothing but a few of Turstarkuri's prized dogmatic scrolls, he crept away to the comparative safety of other lands, swearing to obliterate not only the Dead God's magic users--but to put an end to magic altogether."

Ancient Apparition

Kaldr the Ancient Apparition is a faint and eerie projection of a being that exists outside of time. His stake in the war of the Ancients is unknown, but what we should be more concerned about is the grim fate that he brings to all of creation.

Projected from the cold, infinite void, the Ancient Apparition known as Kaldr is but a faint image of his true self. Nevertheless, his Chilling Touch is enough to reach the furthest of targets. Caught in an Ice Vortex, heroes quickly get Cold Feet and before they know it, find themselves frozen in place. A frigid sphere flies across the sky, expanding at its destination. Within seconds, an Ice Blast strikes the marked area. Flash frozen, enemies have no choice but to retreat before their brittle bodies shatter to pieces...

"Kaldr, the Ancient Apparition, is an image projected from outside time. He springs from the cold, infinite void that both predates the universe and awaits its end. Kaldr is, Kaldr was, Kaldr shall be… and what we perceive, powerful as it appears to us, is but the faintest faded echo of the true, eternal Kaldr. Some believe that as the cosmos ages and approaches its final moments, the brightness and power of Kaldr will also intensify—that the Ancient Apparition will grow younger and stronger as eternity's end draws nigh. His grip of ice will bring all matter to a stop, his image will cast a light too terrible to behold. An Apparition no longer!"

Kaldr appears unto the world as an incorporeal elemental of ice: a being at one with nature, but in this case he is at one with the icy elements of nature. This elemental is naught but an image, a mere projection of a greater being that exists outside time in the cold, infinite void—a presence that predates the universe and awaits its end at the moment of the great equilibrium.

Mere apocrypha dictates that as the cosmos ages and is ushered to its final moments by time, Kaldr's light and power will grow ever stronger. His Ancient moniker will lose its meaning as he defies time's aging and grows younger, his grip of ice will bring all matter to a stop, his image will cast a light too terrible to behold and herald the coming of the great equilibrium!

Alchemist

Having broken out of prison with his ogre accomplice, Razzil Darkbrew embarks on the search for new materials to use in his transmutations. Learned in alchemy, he created fields of corrosive, toxic Sludge Acids to accelerate his Greevil's Greed — extracting extra gold from creeps and Bounty Runes. With enough resources, it is rumored that Razzil has the secret formula to Synthesize a buff into the body that equals the legendary scepter. The Alchemist brews, atop the shoulders of his companion, an increasingly Unstable Concoction that is ideally thrown before it explodes. In a pinch, Razzil slips his partner with an Unknown Potion, inducing a Chemical Rage in the ogre's body. Symptoms include unnatural speeds, rapid health regeneration, and a pleasant purple hue.

"The sacred science of Chymistry was a Darkbrew family tradition, but no Darkbrew had ever shown the kind of creativity, ambition, and recklessness of young Razzil. However, when adulthood came calling he pushed aside the family trade to try his hand at manufacturing gold through Alchemy.

In an act of audacity befitting his reputation, Razzil announced he would transmute an entire mountain into gold. Following two decades of research and spending and preparation, he failed spectacularly, quickly finding himself imprisoned for the widespread destruction his experiment wrought. Yet Razzil was never one to take a setback lightly, and sought escape to continue his research.

When his new cellmate turned out to be a fierce ogre, he found just the opportunity he needed. After convincing the ogre not to eat him, Razzil set about carefully concocting a tincture for it to drink, made from the moulds and mosses growing in the prison stone work. In a week's time, it seemed ready. When the ogre drank the potion, it flew into an unstoppable berserker rage, destroying the cell bars and exploding through walls and guards alike.

They soon found themselves lost somewhere in the forest surrounding the city with a trail of wreckage in their wake and no signs of pursuit. In the tonic's afterglow, the ogre seemed serene, happy, and even eager. Resolving to work together, the pair set off to collect the materials needed to attempt Razzil's Alchemic transmutation once more."

Alchemist is a team of two beings, the Keen Razzil Darkbrew, and his ogre accomplice. Razzil is a member of the Darkbrew Family, known for their interest in chymistry. Forever on the search for materials to use in alchemy, the pair extracts ingredients from the corpses of their foes. Although pacified by Razzil's makeshift potion, the ogre nonetheless seems tired of carrying his partner around, and longs for new shoes, a back brace, and less walking.

Despite Razzil's estrangement from his family, he still sometimes serve as their enforcer.

Tinker believes that alchemy is an illegitimate science, and thinks Razzil is a loon for practicing it.

Abaddon

Unlike the other scions of his house, Abaddon drank deeper than any from the prophetic vapors that flowed from the Font of Avernus. Now a being of unnatural powers, Abaddon stifles his foes by spreading the Curse of Avernus, and releases deathly double-edged Mist Coils to damage adversaries and heal allies. The black mist swirls around his compatriots, forming an Aphotic Shield that absorbs attacks before bursting in a wide radius. But the Font's greatest gift is revealed only in the desperation of battle. Bestowed with Borrowed Time, Abaddon charges the enemy ranks, riding down foes with his cursed blade, his health returning with each welcoming blow. For all that was meant to kill did nothing but make the Lord of Avernus even more formidable.

"The Font of Avernus is the source of a family's strength, a crack in primal stones from which vapors of prophetic power have issued for generations. Each newborn of the cavernous House Avernus is bathed in the black mist, and by this baptism they are given an innate connection to the mystic energies of the land. They grow up believing themselves fierce protectors of their lineal traditions, the customs of the realm—but what they really are protecting is the Font itself. And the motives of the mist are unclear.

When the infant Abaddon was bathed in the Font, they say something went awry. In the child's eyes there flared a light of comprehension that startled all present and set the sacerdotes to whispering. He was raised with every expectation of following the path all scions of Avernus took—to train in war, that in times of need he might lead the family's army in defense of the ancestral lands. But Abaddon was always one apart. Where others trained with weapons, he bent himself to meditation in the presence of the mist. He drank deep from the vapors that welled from the Font, learning to blend his spirit with the potency that flowed from far beneath the House; he became a creature of the black mist.

There was bitterness within the House Avernus—elders and young alike accusing him of neglecting his responsibilities. But all such accusations stopped when Abaddon rode into battle, and they saw how the powers of the mist had given him mastery over life and death beyond those of any lord the House had ever known."

Kumate Tribe

The Kumate Tribe is a group of cannibalistic people in East Blue.

About

Members of this tribe are all humans; however, those that were seen all share one physical characteristic, having visibly similar noses that have the same color and shape. Kumate Tribesmen all style their hair in the same fashion, shaving most of it and tying what is left into a long antenna-like ponytail on the top of their heads and leaving a little hair on the back of their heads. All tribesmen wear the same outfit, consisting of a striped shirt, torn skirts, a grass necklace, a long scarf-like cloth tied around their necks, and sandals. They also have their tribal symbol tattooed or painted on the backs of their hands. The Kumate Tribe was founded on September 29th. There are between thirty to fifty tribesmen.

Homeland

The Kumate Tribe's homeland is on an island within East Blue, and representative of their clan's name, the island itself is shaped like a bear's paw, round in shape with four mountains protruding on the edge in reminiscence of toes.

History

The tribe easily defeated the Buggy Pirates when they were under the temporary captaincy of Richie and attempted to eat them. After the Kumate Tribe discovered Buggy's severed limbs, Buggy, with the help of Alvida, was reunited with his body parts and managed to defeat the Kumate Tribe and save his crew.

Kuja

The Kuja are a tribe of all female fighters found on the island of Amazon Lily. Apparently, until they found Luffy on their island, most of them had never seen a man before.

Appearance

They typically seem to wear a warrior style of clothing they have for every day use that is skimpy and usually have straps, as well as a bikini style briefs/clothing on their lower regions or very short loin clothes. Many wear thigh length boots and stockings or have their legs completely bare. The style of clothing they wear would be considered otherwise provocative to normal people but are worn freely by the women on the island. On top of this outfit, they often wear a long cape that reaches from the shoulders to the ankles which appears to be a marine uniform jacket. Workers seen in the fields and at other chores without a cape, thus this proves the capes are not fixed permanently onto their outfits.

For evening and casual wear it was seen that they have a patterned shawl that goes over their top half but leaves the shoulders bare. They wear nothing underneath this shawl and it is tied together at the middle of the breasts with a single bow and often wear a mini-skirt on their lower half to match this or the usually bikini/loin cloth instead. Warriors are seen each carrying a large snake wrapped around them. When the Kuja threatened Luffy, it was revealed that they use the snakes as bows.

Overall Strength

The women are raised in the ways of the warrior and are often burly and strong, but there are the odd beauties amongst them. Despite being a warrior tribe, the Kuja cultivate a surprisingly peaceful existence within Amazon Lily, and only engage in battle amongst themselves in arranged competitions held in the local arena for the general public's entertainment.

Typically, as there are no men to do the work that they would otherwise do elsewhere in the world, the women do all the chores from farming and hunting to building and smithing.

Haki

While the warriors of Kuja may lack information on Devil Fruits, or even know of their existence, most (if not all) seem to be knowledgeable and fairly proficient in the use of Haki. They can imbue their arrows with Busoshoku Haki, mainly to increase the overall impact. This puts the Kuja warriors above most other characters seen in the series, as Haki is not a widely used ability.

Snake Weapons

The Kuja all have snakes which can be used as weapons or other things. When not in use, the snakes wrap themselves around the body of the Kuja who owns them. The serpents' bodies are about as long as the Kuja who use them and they all wear small berets and a scarf. Salome, Hancock's snake, is an exception as its body is exceptionally long compared to the others and it wears a horned skull on its head with some kind of furry scarf around its neck.

When the snakes form into their various shapes, no word is spoken by the Kuja (as seen so far) to instruct the snake to take the shape it does. How the snakes know which form to take is uncertain. They are also useful for tracking people and animals, as Hancock used her snake to find Luffy after the war.

Kinokobito

A kinokobito is a race composed of people with mushroom body and four legs.

Appearance

Kinokobito are human-sized humanoid figures with four legs. Their bodies are composed of two mushroom-shaped halves, with spots on the bottom of each section of their torso. They have a very tall cap on their heads.

History

Whole Cake Island Arc
A kinokobito was captured by Big Mom and trapped within a book full of creatures by Mont-d'Or. They seem to be capable of human speech, as the one trapped inside Big Mom's book was calling for help.

Trivia
The name of this race can be translated literally as Mushroom People.

Humans

Human beings are the dominant race in the world, as they outnumber most other races, and are usually among the most technologically advanced and organized of the races. Most islands are inhabited by humans, even in the Grand Line, where most of the stronger races such as the fish-men and giants are found.

Appearance

Humans come in a range of sizes, ranging from "normal" to much taller (such as Jerry). Some, such as Gecko Moria and Charlotte Linlin, are extremely large for human standards; Linlin is 880 cm (28'10") tall, far surpassing an average human's height by roughly six times. However, these humans remain small compared to giants, who have a minimum height of 12 meters (around 40 feet). These large humans are roughly the same size as Wotans. Some humans have features that are unique, such as Usopp's long nose, which led to people mistaking him for a fish-man in Cocoyasi Village.

Some humans have an ape-like appearance such as Masira, Shoujou, the Utan Divers, Hamburg and the Coffee Monkeys; Masira claimed openly to be human and not ape, although he was not insulted when called a "monkey". Humans with demonic features have also appeared in the storyline (mainly in the Impel Down Arc) and have traits such as pointed ears, sharp teeth and intimidating facial features; Gecko Moria is notably demonic in appearance, having white skin, pointed ears and even small horns on his forehead. A few humans have even been seen with goat or sheep-like horns growing on their heads, such as Merry and Caesar Clown. Even amongst families, size and proportional differences may occur, the most prominent example being the Gorgon Sisters. Some humans can be born with abnormally long skulls, as shown by the likes of Strawberry and Chinjao, with the top of their heads being quite tall, however it appears this trait is not hereditary as Chinjao's own grandchildren lack this feature.

Overall Strength

Most of the inhabitants of the One Piece world are normal humans, and are one of the weakest races on the planet. While the average human is as weak as in real life, with enough training, they are able to become Superhumans- normal humans with high levels of physical strength. They can also train to gain incredible abilities. Some humans like Koala have demonstrated that humans can learn Fish-Man Karate, despite not being Fish-Men themselves. Many humans have developed a variety of martial arts styles to defend themselves with such as Black Leg Style and Hasshoken. Additionally humans often wield swords and other weapons to compensate. Several human swordsmen are shown to be extremely powerful individuals such as Zoro, Shanks, Kyros, Ryuma (when he was alive), and world's strongest swordsman Dracule Mihawk. In addition, normal humans are more likely to consider eating Devil Fruits to compensate for their lower physical abilities.

There is also a Zoan Devil Fruit called Hito Hito no Mi which grants any animal that eats it human abilities such as intelligence, speech, and the ability to take a human hybrid form and full human form, as seen with its current user the Drum Island reindeer, Tony Tony Chopper. Using his human intelligence the fruit granted him, Tony Tony Chopper developed the Rumble Ball to grant him further transformations.

Giants

Giants are a race of humanoids that vastly overshadow the other known races of the world in size. The most commonly known giants are those from the island of Elbaf. There are also different tribes of giants such as the Ancient Giants and the unknown tribe of the Yeti Cool Brothers.

Appearance

Being giants, they are literally giant humans in appearance, although many giants seen have been noted as having more exaggerated proportions and features than most humans. They are so large that when they cry, their tears can cause large areas on the ground to appear flooded.

They are not to be confused with large-sized humans such as the Franky Family's Kairiki Destroyers or Bartholomew Kuma. To a giant, these large humans are no more than "oversized pipsqueaks." Large-sized humans, at their tallest, reach the knee height of a giant; a normal human only reaches as high as the ankle in comparison. Edward Newgate, a large-sized human, has shown that his entire body is barely taller than the giant Lonz's head alone. Normal giants are 12 meters tall at minimum, while the tallest known human, Charlotte Linlin, is only 8.8 meters tall. Overall, normal giants tend to hover around 20 meters in height when fully grown, with Morley currently being the shortest known giant at 12.53 meters tall and Dorry being the tallest known normal giant at 22.6 meters.

Sanjuan Wolf is a notable giant who stands taller than Ancient Giants, as he is nearly three times as tall as Oars and as big as the Marineford headquarters building. He is considered to be one of a kind among giants due to his massive size, though this was attributed to a Devil Fruit he possesses rather than natural growth.

Overall Strength

Giants are an inherently strong and collectively a near-unstoppable race. Average humans cannot stand up to them, making them ideal guards and deadly warriors. Throughout the series, characters regularly state awareness of the power of giants.

Giant Feats

Oars' strength was said to be powerful enough to move continents, and his fearsome reputation drew Moria to acquire his corpse for zombification, believing that its power would help him become the Pirate King. Big Mom believed that if she had managed to gain the allegiance of the giant warriors of Elbaf, she would have been able to defeat the other three Emperors and become the Pirate King herself. During the Ohara Incident, Saul lifted up and smashed a number of the colossal Buster Call fleet battleships, which were far larger than him. He had been noted to have more strength than an average giant. In fact, many giants are servants of the World Government and the Marines, enforcing the latter's status as one of the Three Great Powers. Their overall strength is the primary reason that the World Government is conducting research on gigantification, in the hopes of creating their own giant armies.

Relative Size and Strength

Just as large-sized humans have an advantage against "normal" humans, large-sized giants like Oars have a massive advantage against "normal" giants. Large-sized humans, even those with great strength, are usually just too weak to take on a giant, as Oimo and Kashii proved to the Kairiki Destroyers. Most giants thus far have either been taken down by the strongest of the human fighters or by tactics. In all observed cases, combatting giants has been achieved through exploiting their great size, tight teamwork and cooperation, and turning the giants against one another. Oimo and Kashii were taken down by the joint efforts of the Galley-La foremen, Zambai, Sodom, and Gomorrah. While Sodom and Gomorrah had the strength and size almost equal to the giants, the others who aided them used more tactical efforts, such as pinning down Kashii's face when he fell and using Oimo to deal a knock-out blow to his partner.

Drawbacks and Weaknesses

While all giants are incredibly strong, their sheer size is also their biggest disadvantage. The larger giants such as Oars and Oars Jr. are so big that they make for easy targets during battles. Another disadvantage is space, as giants need room to maneuver themselves without damaging buildings or stepping on allies.

Fish-Men

Fish-men are one of two humanoid races that inhabit and rule the seas (the other being the merfolk). In terms of leadership, Fisher Tiger, Jinbe, and Arlong were said to have the highest respect amongst their people. They are classified as Type C creatures, "Big Savage".

Appearance

Fish-men are more fish-like than merfolk, usually looking like a combination between a man and a fish or other aquatic creature, such as an octopus, manta ray, or sawshark; however, they still have legs (in fact, Decken has four). They also have gills between their shoulders and necks, sometimes covered by their clothing, as well as often having webbed hands. Depending on species, they may have multiple limbs (mainly extra arms).

Size may also differ greatly between individuals, as Arlong was much taller than any of his crew members, but was small compared to Fisher Tiger, while Wadatsumi is even bigger than an ancient giant like Oars. For fish-men pirates in pirate crews that are primarily fish-man based (Sun Pirates, Arlong Pirates, and New Fish-Man Pirates), it appears customary to have that crew's jolly roger tattooed somewhere on the person's body, showing allegiance to a crew.

Overall Strength

From birth, fish-men are physically ten times as strong as normal humans. This difference is magnified underwater, where a human's power is cut in half, while fish-men are not only completely unhindered, but are even strengthened. Jinbe himself noted that on dry land, he had little power to offer. Considering the impressive strength of a fish-man as powerful as him, this shows the massive difference in the potential of any fish-man when in the water compared to being on dry land. Overall, the fish-man race can be considered unstoppable in battle while in their natural habitat, the sea. As expected, they are excellent swimmers, and are capable of swimming through the water at a great speed and force. However, their speed is no match for the merfolk, who are the fastest swimmers in the world. In addition, they can still talk under water and cannot drown. However, breathing air into their gills makes them suffer like a normal fish would. While they can use their gills to breathe in water, they have to switch back to their lungs to breathe in air. If a fish-man were to eat a Devil Fruit, they, like anyone who partakes of the fruit, will lose their ability to swim forever. They will still be able to breathe underwater, though they will be unable to move while in it.

Like merfolk, fish-men also possess the ability to communicate with sea creatures. In particular, fish-men seem adept at communicating with large sea monsters, and possess a unique capacity to bring out the primal rage in such creatures. This ability was first demonstrated when Arlong induced Momoo into a primal frenzy to have him attack the Straw Hats during the battle at Arlong Park, despite Momoo's initial reservations about doing so. The ability was shown again in more detail when Hody and, to a more limited extent, the officers of his crew used it to induce the large Sea Monsters the New Fish-man Pirates had in their possession into a similar rage to the one created by the Energy Steroids they had been eating. The animal being influenced has to be at least somewhat willing to comply, as was shown when Surume quickly stopped squeezing Shirahoshi on Hody's command due to Luffy's intervention, and afterwards refused to follow any more of Hody's orders. Just as with normal merfolk, fish-men are still unable to communicate with Sea Kings; only the Mermaid Princess who awakens the power of the ancient weapon Poseidon, currently Shirahoshi, is capable of doing so.

Dwarves

Dwarves are a race in the One Piece world. They were first mentioned on a list of slave prices that Duval gave to Sanji. They sell for Beli 700,000 as slaves. They were first seen in Green Bit when Robin and Usopp were exploring the forest at the northern part of the island off the coast of Dressrosa, they discovered a tribe of dwarves living on the island.

Appearance

Dwarves are an extremely small sentient race. In comparison to an average sized human, their difference in height is approximately the same as that between a normal-sized human and an average-sized giant. They are mostly human in appearance, with chibi-like proportions, and often have pointed noses. Members of the Tontatta Tribe have thick fluffy tails.

Inter-species Relationships

The dwarves are valued as slaves by normal humans considering the standard price for a dwarf is Beli 700,000. Dwarves refer to humans as "Big Humans" and casually ask them whether they are good or bad and as a tradition a good human can prove him/herself by either giving up their weapons or being stripped of all their possessions. Dwarves are very careful not to be seen by any humans as they will try to kill anyone who sees them unless they promise not to tell anyone of their existence. They are also gullible to anything humans say to them, making them simple to be motivated by Kyros and easily fooled by Doflamingo. Dwarves are capable of reproducing with humans, as shown by the existence of Charlotte Normande, one of Charlotte Linlin's daughters.

They are behind Dressrosa's belief in fairies and accept the country's offerings to them. However, most of the citizens are aware of their existence and only call them fairies as a facade. According to Wicca, they only show themselves to the Riku royal family, but they make an exception for Usopp and his friends. After Doldo III's return to the throne, the dwarves and the humans now coexist as peace returns to Dressrosa. Dwarves are one of the races known to live in Totto Land, where they live in harmony with other races.

Overall Strength

Despite their small size, dwarves possess great strength, with a single dwarf being able to easily destroy a building. They are very fast, enough for them to disappear in a blink of an eye, making it nearly impossible for a normal person to see them. They are known as great cultivators as they stated that they can cultivate any plant, as evidenced by the abundance of plant life on Green Bit. However, they have trouble growing SMILE correctly, as it is artificial in nature. Dwarves are shown to be extremely gullible and trusting, easily convinced to believe anyone, even if they are obviously lying.

Certain dwarves fight with a style known as Tontatta Combat, which utilizes their unique traits and strength of their race to bludgeon bigger opponents.

Torino Kingdom

The Torino Kingdom is an island in the South Blue that some call the "Isle of Treasure". It is a relatively small island with a huge tree growing in the middle of it. At first glance the island seems savage and its inhabitants seem primitive, in reality however, the locals have an extensive library and the great tree in the middle of the island is covered in plants that are excellent for making various medicines. Tony Tony Chopper was sent here by Bartholomew Kuma during the events in the Sabaody Archipelago Arc. He spent two years here in order to train.

Inhabitants

The human inhabitants of the Torino Kingdom have so far been shown as overweight people dressed only in grass skirts with knotted black hair, seemingly having the stereotypical caveman intelligence. Some bear an eye tattoo symbol on either of their upper arms and all adults seem wear a simple necklace. Despite this, it has been revealed that they have a vast library of books about different herbs and their medicinal purposes as well as weapons that suggest a mechanical nature. This implies that they have an advanced culture and perhaps a higher intelligence than what was initially presumed. All of them are extremely short, only being about twice as tall as Tony Tony Chopper's hybrid form. The only named inhabitant of the island is Shanba.

History

The natives of the island were ruled by the gigantic birds known as Masukeredomo Goayu Birds that live in the tree above. Chopper was sent flying here by Bartholomew Kuma from the Sabaody Archipelago. Chopper was then seen running from several natives, who were trying to catch him for food. Eventually, Chopper came to good terms with the natives and resolved the conflict between them and the giant birds. After receiving Luffy's secret message, Chopper stayed on the island for the next two years to train. After Doflamingo's defeat at Dressrosa, the citizens received Chopper's new wanted poster. They also built a drug store in Chopper's honor, called Tanukichi Drug Store.

Tontatta Kingdom

The Tontatta Kingdom is a kingdom underneath Green Bit, and home to the Tontatta Tribe, a tribe of dwarves ruled by king Gancho.

Layout and Locations

The Tontatta kingdom is a kingdom that is located just below Green Bit, inside there is as much vegetation as in the forest itself, even having a waterfall, the flowers are normal size, but compared to the houses of the dwarves they seem to be huge. Dwarf houses are oval, as culturally depicted in folklore. The kingdom has a stone roof, and is large enough for a normal-sized human to stand upright.

Army and Transportation

The Tontatta Kingdom had an army comprised of at least two squads, the Pink Bee Squad led by Bian, and the Yellow Kabu Squad led by Kabu, before it was disbanded following the events of the Dressrosa Arc. Tontatta Kingdom also has an airline, Tontatta Airline that is comprised of insects.

In addition to that, they have Linear Foxes known as the Corn Express that can hold twenty dwarves. They have been said to be extremely fast. The word "Corn" is a play on kon, a Japanese onomatopoeia for foxes.

The Army was led by Kyros, who was the only toy in the entire Dressrosa kingdom to not be bound to a contract, and was free to act as he pleased. Their main goal was to overthrow the Donquixote Pirates and restore honor to the fallen king, Riku Doldo III. To achieve this, their core strategy, known as Operation Dressrosa S.O.P. was to force-feed Sugar, a special agent who maintained the hold on the citizens of Dressrosa via her Hobi Hobi no Mi, a Tatababasco-laced grape, in order to knock her unconscious and cancel her power, restoring all the lost memories and citizens to cause an uproar against Doflamingo. Though the plan did not follow this exactly, the operation was a success as Sugar was rendered unconscious when she force fed Usopp the grape, which led him to make a horrifying visage that scared her senseless.

After Doflamingo was defeated, Riku was reinstalled, and the Birdcage disappeared, Kyros disbanded the army.

Standing Kingdom

The Standing Kingdom is Orlumbus' home nation.

Layout

Little has been seen of the kingdom so far, but there exists a castle where the king resides. The kingdom’s port was later shown during Orlumbus’ departure.

History

The Stories of the Self-Proclaimed Straw Hat Grand Fleet
At some point after leaving Dressrosa, Orlumbus returned to this kingdom in order to resign from his post as an adventurer. The king, however, was furious at his resignation. Soon after Orlumbus set sail with his fleet in tow, the king ordered the kingdom’s army to fire on them as they left.

Momoiro Island

Momoiro Island is an island in Paradise. It is located close to the Lulusia Kingdom. The island is filled with pink animals and plants. It is home to the Kamabakka Kingdom, a place where "those with a heart of a maiden" gather. The name of the kingdom literally translates to "full of transvestites", which is exactly what the island is filled with.

The leader of the island is the revolutionary "Queen" Emporio Ivankov, who escaped from Impel Down's level 5.5 and returned to the island with a crew of newkama. After the destruction of Baltigo, the Revolutionary Army moved their base of operations to this island.

Citizens

The island and its inhabitants are just as well known as the legendary island of Amazon Lily. However, the islands are exact opposites of each other. While Amazon Lily is comprised only of women who behave somewhat similar to men (similar to the Amazons of lore), Momoiro is filled only with men who behave similar to women.

Even the animals are transvestites. Nevertheless, like its counterpart, the island's population seems to be comprised of powerful fighters who abide and appear to be totally comfortable with their lifestyle, mostly due to their famous power-enhancing Attack Cuisine.

The Okama inhabitants held the Revolutionary Army in utmost respect and esteem due to Ivankov's membership, particularly the top executives Morley and Betty, whom they address with the honorific sama and was excited to see them gather.

Trivia

  • Everytime Sanji refers to this place, he calls it "Hell".
  • "Momoiro" means "pink" (lit. peach-colored) in Japanese.
  • "Kamabakka" means "nothing but transvestites" in Japanese.

Kuraigana Island

The Kuraigana Island is a dark and gloomy place somewhere in the Grand Line. It was once the home of the now fallen Shikkearu Kingdom. The forest island is relatively deserted except for some ruins. Amongst its landscape, the island possesses unique hills. This island is also the former residence of the Warlord of the Sea, Dracule Mihawk. Roronoa Zoro was sent here by Bartholomew Kuma during the events of Sabaody Archipelago, and spent two years on the island honing his skills.

History

Past
Nine years before the current storyline, a terrible war was fought on this island. The Humandrills inhabiting the forest, gifted with the capability of learning from humans, watched the conflict, learned how to fight using weapons, and became fearsome fighters. At some point after the war's end, Mihawk arrived on this island and made the castle his home.

Straw Hat Separation
Perona was sent flying here by Kuma's Nikyu Nikyu powers when she told him where she wanted to go if she went on a trip. Upon arrival, she settled in one of the ruins. Roronoa Zoro was later sent to this island by the same Warlord of the Sea. The two met up with Mihawk as he returned from the Summit War of Marineford. Mihawk told Perona about Moria's presumed death, and gave Zoro a little boat to return to his crew mates, later telling him about the island's history and warning him about the Humandrills' threat.

During the Timeskip
This is where Zoro trained under Mihawk for two years.

From the Decks of the World: The 500,000,000 Man Arc
Eventually, Perona and Mihawk began to revitalize Kuraigana Island by tilling the battle-torn land. Seeing this, the violent Humandrills learned how to become peaceful and changed into friendly, helpful farmhands.

Wano Country Arc
After the Levely, the island was surrounded by Marines as they prepared to arrest Mihawk, due to the abolishment of the Seven Warlords system. Mihawk decided to relocate due to the pursuit, when he was contacted by Crocodile with an offer of partnership in a new company, leading them to take residence on Karai Bari Island.
